What to Expect from Regenerative Medicine at Protea Performance Center

May 30, 2025 · Dr. Danny Clark

If you're living with chronic pain and haven't found lasting relief, there's a different path forward—one focused on healing, not just managing symptoms.

The First Visit: A Deep Dive Into Your Case

Your first appointment with us is crucial. We block out up to 90 minutes to review your comprehensive medical history, conduct a thorough physical exam, and use in-office ultrasound imaging to assess the condition of your tissues in real time.

Personalized Regenerative Treatments

Our practice focuses on regenerative medicine, including:

  • PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)
  • Bone marrow concentrate (your own adult stem cells)
  • Adipose tissue injections

These therapies are designed to stimulate healing in damaged tissue—rather than masking pain.

Conditions We Commonly Treat

  • Knee osteoarthritis
  • Rotator cuff injuries
  • Tennis/golfer's elbow
  • Hip pain and labral tears
  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Achilles tendonitis
  • SI joint dysfunction
  • Nerve entrapments

What to Expect After Treatment

  • Days 1–3: Some swelling and soreness at the injection site is normal
  • Weeks 1–4: Gradual improvement as the body responds to the regenerative signals
  • Months 2–6: Continued tissue remodeling and healing

We will build a post-treatment plan that may include physical therapy, specific exercises, and follow-up imaging to monitor your progress.
