Protea Medical Center
Naturopathic & Integrative Medicine in Tempe, Arizona
At Protea Medical Center, our physicians provide individualized care for hormonal health, metabolic concerns, preventive medicine, and more. We combine thorough medical evaluations, diagnostic testing when appropriate, and thoughtful treatment planning to help you better understand your health and your options.

Our approach
A thoughtful approach to your health.
Health concerns don't always have simple explanations. Changes in energy, sleep, weight, mood, and other symptoms can involve multiple factors.
Our naturopathic physicians take the time to review your medical history, understand your concerns, and evaluate which factors may be relevant to your health.
From there, we work with you to develop an appropriate plan based on your clinical needs, preferences, and goals.

Care includes hormone therapy, longevity and preventive care, lab testing, nutrition and IV therapy.
How long is the first appointment?
New patient appointments are extended visits, so there is time to go through your health history, previous treatments and current concerns, and to complete an evaluation. Our care coordinators will tell you how much time to plan for when you schedule.
How do I become a patient?
Most patients start with a free discovery call. From there you schedule a new patient appointment, review a treatment plan with your physician, and return for follow-up visits as needed. Call or text (480) 557-9095 or request a consultation online.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Please complete all new patient forms before your visit, and bring a list of your current medications and supplements, any recent lab work or medical records, and the questions or concerns you would like to discuss.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, PayPal and Affirm financing.
Can I order my supplements through Protea?
Yes. We partner with Fullscript, an online dispensary for professional-grade supplements. You can order the products your physician recommends and have them shipped to your home, with patient discounts.
